How to control the budget without making it look cheap
Start with the correct image size, then choose the frame that supports the room. A simple matte black, white or natural wood profile can look excellent when the size and crop are right. Spend on the dimensions and presentation before adding complexity that the image does not need.
If the finished piece feels too expensive, compare a smaller size, a simpler moulding or a mat-free presentation in the builder. Those are visible choices; cutting protective materials usually is not.
