What we measure
We keep three dimensions separate: the visible image or paper, the mat opening when one is used, and the outside edge of the finished frame. That distinction prevents the most common sizing mistake—ordering from the outside dimension when the artwork was measured from the inside.
The catalog is designed to be checked against the piece and the wall. It is not a claim that one frame works for every image; it is a starting set that makes tradeoffs easier to see.
